Sydney Photography FAQs
How long is the photography session?
I allow 1-2 hours for family sessions, 2-3 hours for newborn sessions and 45 minutes for fresh 48 sessions. I never rush you and understand that kids will be kids. If we need to, we take drink and snack breaks and I allow plenty of time for feeding and resettling babies. I always make sure that you walk away from the session with plenty of beautiful images.
How many photos do you take?
I do not limit the amount of photos I take. It depends on how many combinations you require and how many people are in your family. You can expect to see around 60 of the best photos in your design consultation gallery.
Where are your sessions held?
Each and every session is completely unique. When you book your session we will work together to choose a location that suits your family. From your local park, to a beach or even your home, we will make sure to organize the most incredible session doing what your family love.
What is the best age to photograph a baby?
There is no correct answer to this question. At each stage of development babies are doing new and cute things. I love capturing babies at all ages from sleepy and curled up newborns to hand clapping 6 month olds and cheeky 1 year olds.

Do you edit the photos?
My style of photography is very natural. I retouch every photo to make the colours and light pop. Included in your session is simple editing and blemish removal. To read more about my post production process click here.
How long does it take before we can see our photos?
The Design Consultation takes place in the comfort of your home usually the evening after your photoshoot. The most exciting part about this is you only have to wait a couple of hours to choose your favourite photos. After the Design Consultation it only takes 2-3 weeks for your artwork to arrive, ready to hang in your home. To find out more about the Design Consultation click here.
How far will you travel?
I love doing photoshoots in new places, so if you would like me to travel outside of Sydney, just give me a call! I am based in Sydney on the upper North Shore and anywhere outside of a 50km radius requires a travel fee.
My pet wont sit still for you...
No dog or cat is going to pose for the camera, we know and understand this and approach each pet portrait session with the goal to follow your pets lead and have a lot of fun. If they want to run and play ball, so will we. We will be relaxed and capture what you love doing with them everyday. Bring some treats along, these are super helpful to get them to stay close by and not run away from us.
